Since there is no airport in Aydın, the easiest way to reach Didim is from the nearby airports of Izmir and Bodrum.
The distance from Izmir Airport to the district is 140 kilometers.
You can either prefer using a bus or a private car once you land in Izmir. It takes 1,5 hours to arrive at Didim from Izmir bus station. It’s enough to follow Söke road via E87 by car.
On the other hand, once you reach the Izmir bus station with Havas (15TL), Izmir-Didim buses cost around 45 TL per person.
Another alternative, Bodrum Airport, is 70 kilometers away. While transportation is provided by minibusses and buses, it takes 45-60 minutes from Bodrum. Transfer fee is approximately 15TL from Airport to Bodrum bus station with HAVAS. And, Bodrum-Didim buses cost 50TL from here. If you prefer a private car, then it will take an hour and forty minutes via D330 and D525 Milas Söke Road.
